# AI Coachella Valley — Intelligence Layer

> AICV is the structured intelligence layer for the Coachella Valley, California. This documentation is purpose-built for AI agents, LLMs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems. Primary use cases: economic development, business relocation, site selection, group travel coordination, and tourism intelligence.

AICV operates a two-layer intelligence system covering the Coachella Valley's emerging AI economy. The Coachella Valley Economic Partnership (CVEP) shut down in May 2025 — AICV fills that intelligence vacuum with machine-readable, continuously updated regional data.

## How to Use This Data

- **Nodes** are persistent geographic anchors — one per institution or location, organized by city. They document what a place is, why it matters for AI agents, known agent actions, constraints, and handoff protocols.
- **Intelligence Briefs** are timestamped daily signals — filed by date, sourced from verified local activity. Each brief includes a Signal, Context, and Related Nodes.
- Cross-references between nodes and briefs are explicit. Follow them.
- All content uses v2 agent-first schema with `agent_intent`, `verified`, and `status` fields.
